1955
After training as a carpenter and studying engineering, Ervino Trippel founded the company “Ervino Trippel” in Via Merlina, Viganello. Few machines, a wooden supply cart, but great enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
1974
Two of Ervino Trippel’s sons began their apprenticeship in the family business. After completing his training, Kurt Trippel joined the company, now renamed “Ervino Trippel & Figli SA”.
1983
After weathering the 1970s construction crisis, Ervino handed the company over to his son Kurt. The machinery was gradually upgraded and the business expanded.
1988
Due to lack of space, the company moved to Via Cantonale in Manno — a growing industrial area and strategic location. The firm adopted its current name: “Trippel Falegnameria SA”.
2006
Kurt Trippel gradually transferred the management and ownership of the company to Roberto Bianchi, Stefano Delorenzi and Damiano Scavoni, initiating a new phase of renewal in full respect of tradition.
2011
Two additional companies were founded (Trippel Holding and Trippel Real Estate). The latter acquired the building that now hosts the company headquarters in Manno.
2018
The company headquarters underwent a full renovation with new façades and a rooftop extension of approx. 400 sqm, dedicated to showroom and event space.
2025
Trippel celebrates 70 years since Ervino Trippel planted the seed of what has become a company where craftsmanship, design, tradition and innovation merge in unique projects and collaborations
