Sustainability: a success factor
Falegnameria Trippel SA has been committed to sustainable craftsmanship for many years.
Sustainability is a broad concept that includes everything that does not have a harmful effect on the environment, health, climate, and available resources. In other words, everything that does not negatively impact our living space and aims to improve quality of life.
For this reason, Falegnameria Trippel SA and all its employees are committed to:
- Promoting sustainable sourcing of materials.
- Using natural resources responsibly and, where possible, monitoring consumption (water, electricity, gas, paper).
- Promoting environmental responsibility
- Optimizing waste management and minimizing waste production.
- Protecting human rights.
- Promoting sustainable energy sourcing.
In practice, since 2017, Falegnameria Trippel SA has:
- Installed approx. 200 sqm of solar panels on the roof, providing the energy required to run the administrative building and part of the production facility. A charging station for electric vehicles has also been installed, and over the coming years, the vehicle fleet is planned to be gradually replaced with electric vehicles.
- Created a private ecological platform with dedicated containers for the separate collection of waste and workshop/site residues (wood, paper, glass, metal).
- Replaced old woodworking machines with new-generation CNC machines with reduced energy consumption.
- Replaced the existing wood-fired boiler with a new, more efficient and sustainable system (low energy consumption, low noise, compliance with Eup directives, etc.).
- Developed a workplace safety manual, regularly updated, available in full version at various points within the company and distributed in a summarized version to all employees.
- Confirmed the protection of human rights through fair wages, gender equality, protection of social rights, mandatory insurance coverage for illness/accidents, etc..
